A little Efficiency goes a long way!

Especially when you are trying to get running on all cylinders again!

Part 3 Efficiency

The funny thing about resources is that they are not unlimited. My time, money, and food, are all so easy to waste. I need to be more deliberate with the use of these. I need to be a better steward not just for me, but my daughter and my friends at Jose's.

So lets start with Jose's, never thought I could be excited with a restaurant again, but here in EGR, I am pretty excited. Making the flow of food hyper efficient allows us not only to save money, it allows us to do more fun stuff! Stay tuned next week for the lowdown of things to come!

Ainsley, OH AINSLEY! If I am super efficient with all the domestics, then I can really strategize our time. If I do the housework when she is sleeping, I can concentrate on being a Daddy during the waking hours. Not only do we do get to have fun with projects like organizing the dolls, but we also move together. Which leads us to....

Self Care. Now that Wendi kicks my butt 2x a week and Chris and Cheryl PT me 2x a month, why not go to the massage therapist that is in the same building? Not that I didn't like the old place, but why waste the gas and time driving somewhere else? Better yet, why not workout while Ainsley is at swim class then join her in the pool. Next week I plan to start doing a lil Yoga with Lil Red!

Now for the moment you have been reading for! Here is some fun Kitchen Efficiency for you:

If you are a fan of homemade Ranch dressing, of course you can buy the packet BUT this is how I roll. I wait for the mayo jar is about 1/2 full. Then I add the following ingredients:

1 Tablespoon fresh Cracked Pepper

1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic

1 Tablespoon Dehydrated Onion

1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley

1/2 Tablespoon Paprika

1/2 Tablespoon Old Bay or Lawreys seosoning salt

I stir it up with a rubber spatula right in the jar. Then I add the buttermilk to the thickness I like. I then label the old mayo jar with the expiration date of the buttermilk.

(The only labels I believe in are on food!)

This way I save cleanup and repurpose some plastic! I am consistently making my life a little easier with some forethought and planning. Give it a try in first thing in the morning. I make notes in my phone before I get out of bed.
